Give yourself the gift of time to relax and rejuvenate. As a nurse you are busy caring for others, often times neglecting your own needs. This weekend will provide you skills toward maintaining balance and synergy of your physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, personal and professional wellbeing.  Our presenters will lead us through heartful skills and relaxation techniques that will build resiliency into your daily life.

At the Renewal Retreat for Nurses, you will:

• participate in activities that enhance self-renewal which can also be used with patients

• explore the impact of the mind on the physiology with a focus on restoration, relaxation, vitality, alertness, and empowerment

• rediscover the eating experience with a focus on the basics, our thoughts, feeling and emotion towards food, and reprogramming our brains to regulate intake naturally with no guilt

• experience the effect of essential oils on the limbic system

• explore the heart-brain relationship and how emotions and perceived stressors affect health, sleep, energy, relationships, resilience and cognitive ability

• participate in skills to shift energy drains in relationship to work-life balance, compassion fatigue and burnout

• re-connect with your passion to serve others

This continuing nursing education activity is pending CNE approval by the Western Multi-State Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, and Utah Nurses Associations are members of the Western Multi-State Division.
